Landscapes
This is a plein air painting in early morning hours on the backwaters of the Mississippi River in St. Paul Minnesota. In the summer lotus flowers are blooming prolificly across the water and create their own lovely light. Focus of this painting is on the overall glow of the beautiful and hidden setting of this park.
